This is a beautiful early 20th Century folding seat bench in solid oak. It dates form around the turn of the century and would have been used as a chapel pew or theatre seat. It is in exceptional condition for its age with all joints being solid and the bench sitting very sturdy for regular use. We fully cleaned the piece and gently restored its colour and finish – look at that beaitiful oak grain colour and sheen!
All four seats fold up and the whole bench folds flat, should you need it to. We love the style, colour and overall versatility of the bench. It could be a hall bench, additional seating for a party, bbq, Christmas etc. Perfect for narrow hallways where the seats can be folded up when not in use. The bench is solid and sturdy when folded out and totally useable as an everyday hall or dining bench.
We adore the design and condition, making it stand out from the masses of pews available. It lends itself to being very flexible on how it can be styled and used in your home. A fantastic late 19th Century reversible swing back bench. This is a beautifully solid bench with solid iron framework and back supports. The seating and back rest are in perfectly aged antique pitch pine. The back of these benches can be reversed so that seating is possible from either side of the bench. They are a gorgeous piece of history and now make a superb hall bench, dining bench or garden bench. You choose!

A fantastic late 19th Century reversible back Tram bench. It is fantastically compact for a smaller/ tight space. All of the original antique style in a small gorgeous package. The back of the bench can be reversed so that seating is possible from either side of the bench (originally for when the tram would be going back and forth from its destinations). We think it would now make a perfect hall bench or boot room bench but could obviously be a garden/ patio/ courtyard bench too.

This is a superb 19th Century church/ chapel pew. It is hand crafted from antique pitch pine with superb details of true hand craftsmanship. It is completely original, very solid and heavy (approx. 50kgs!). The pew has not been messed around with in anyway, like a lot of pews that have been cut down, new ends added etc. We have a matching pair available at this length and one not quite as wide.
We love the design, quality of wood and hand crafted details, making it stand out from the masses of pews available. The colour and patina are also perfect. A fantastic late 19th Century reversible back Tram bench. This is a heavyweight bench with solid cast iron framework and back supports by W Fisher of West Bromwich (1830-1909). The lower seat supports are of exceptional design and quality with intricate gothic revival design to each of the supports. They are also stamped W Fisher of West Bromwich. The seat and back rest are perfectly aged and coloured antique pitch pine. The back of these benches can be reversed so that seating is possible from either side of the bench. They are a gorgeous piece of history and now make a superb hall bench, dining bench or garden bench. You choose!
