A gorgeous mid Century glazed gin cabinet. Tis cabinet was produced in the 1960’s by Harris & Rose of London N1 (Islington). The cabinetry is finished in Walnut veneer and presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina. Although it is a mid century piece it is very much of the 1920’s Art Deco design, sat on Queen Anne style cabriole legs. All of the glass in the doors is original along with the glass shelves, lock and key. We put a new back on the piece as the previous one was covered in old and worn material. We refinished the new back in Farrow & Ball Wevet Estate Eggshell for a contemporary update and to really freshen the piece up. Very nicely sized to be easy to accommodate but still offering plenty of storage for some of you favourite things.
Spoil yourself and makes those little treats even more special.

An excellent example of an original Art Deco drinks cabinet with beautiful astragal glazing to the doors. The cabinetry is finished in Walnut and presented in a stunningly aged colour and patina. All of the glass in the doors is original too, along with the mirror back, glass shelves, original internal bolts, lock and a very Art Deco key. It dates to 1919 with the stamp XVIIII on the wood on the inside. We adore the very Art Deco lines, the colour and being such a lovely size for home use. The mirrored back really does offer a superb drinks cabinet when styled up with your favourite tipples.

A stunning example of an original antique book case or drinks cabinet with beautiful astragal glazing to the doors. The cabinetry is in exceptional original condition. All of the glass in the doors is original too but there is one crack to the left door (please see the close up photograph). You don’t notice the crack until you are very close but we do have to mention it! We could quite easily replace it but for the cosmetic effect it has, we felt it was best to leave the original glass in and reflect it in the price.
This beautiful piece is presented in perfectly aged mahogany with its original astragal glazed doors, glass, lock and key. The shelves are easily adjustable in height by moving the brass supports up or down within the unit. The cabinet is set on superbly carved ball and claw feet. Even the brass locking bolts and hinges are completely original and beautifully preserved.
We re-finished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet eggshell. This gave the piece a contemporary facelift to bring it bang on trend for 2021. What a perfectly gorgeous gin cabinet? It would be very hard to find a more beautiful example than this?
