A beautiful and rare design by Alfred Cox. This console table was designed by Alfred Cox, produced by hand and sold by Heal’s of London. It is finished in a beautiful walnut grain with hand turned handles. It is a rare model and carries some exceptionally elegant lines. With three drawers to the top and a scoop fronted full width lower drawer it offers plenty of very stylish storage. It could serve as a hall table, bedroom/ dressing table, TV stand etc. A stunning and unique piece of British design history.
The original Alfred Cox (AC) label is present and fully in tact on the inside of the top right hand drawer, to prove its authenticity.

A beautifully designed chest of five drawers. This piece was designed by Alfred Cox and hand made in the Alfred Cox furniture factory predominantly for sale via Heals of London. They have beautiful quarter drawn Australian walnut grain, reflective of the quality of timber used. We adore the grain, the lines and particularly the legs and base. The drawers are all free running and have very clean internals. They are gradated in depth from top to bottom and retain all of their original bespoke handles, from solid walnut.
These Alfred Cox pieces are rapidly becoming a 60’s design classic and can only increase in value if looked after well. We have the matching console/ dressing table available too, should you want a matching suite.

A superb looking tallboy chest of drawers by Austinsuite. Designed and made in the 1960’s the teak has aged perfectly and the handles are made from beautifully grained rosewood. We love the design and condition on these drawers. With six free running and clean drawers the chest offers lots of very stylish storage. The bottom drawer being especially deep at 28cm!
The drawers are in excellent vintage condition. Mid Century minimalism and very on trend!

A superb looking tallboy chest of drawers by Meredew. Designed and made in the 1960’s the oak has aged perfectly. We love the design and condition on these drawers. With six free running and clean drawers the chest offers lots of very stylish storage. The original turned handles are all fully in tact and the chest sits on its original legs. The oak has aged perfectly to give a beautiful golden aged colour.
The drawers are in exceptional vintage condition with just one very small area of veneer loss to the bottom right hand corner of the lowest drawer (see photograph). Mid Century minimalism and very on trend!

We have a matching pair of these very popular and very gorgeous G Plan Fresco Tallboy drawers. They were designed in the 1960’s by Victor Wilkins for G Plan. We adore the rich teak and superb handles in a dark contrasting Afromosia (African Teak). Both chests are in very good vintage condition with all six drawers running exactly as they should and all being very clean inside. Mid Century minimalism and very on trend!

A beautiful design by A Younger from the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. The sideboard has the quality hand craftsmanship and weight expected by this good quality producer. The main cabinetry is made of beautifully grained afromosia (African teak), complemented by teak doors and drawers. All of the drawers and internal sections of the piece are clean and run freely. We have sold a number of pieces by A Younger and they are incredibly popular for their beautiful minimalist sleek lines.
With two cupboard areas and 4 drawers there is a vast array of storage space available. It could be used as a TV stand and media unit, drinks cabinet and books etc etc. Amazing mid century styling in a beautiful finish by a very well regarded name. It’s got it all.

A beautifully designed and grained sideboard / credenza by Greaves & Thomas. The piece had been finished in a beautifully coloured and grained mahogany. There are many signs of the quality used in its production, for example, the weight of the piece, the quality brassware both inside and out, all sat on tapered and fluted legs with capped feet. The doors truly show the stunning flame mahogany grain which really makes the piece stand out from the crowd. It sets itself way apart from the plethora of teak and teak veneer mid Century sideboards on the market today.

Alfred Cox pieces were sold in high quality retailers, including Heals of London. The piece is long and heavy, reflective of the quality of Australian Walnut wood used. The main cabinetry is made of beautifully grained walnut, complemented by teak and beech to the handles and lower frame/ legs. All of the drawers and internal sections of the piece are clean and run freely. There is one light sub surface scratch to the top. Difficult to see unless very close but please see photograph.

A beautifully designed low chest of two drawers with lift up mirror for hair and make up drawers. This piece was designed and produced by Goldex in Sweden in the 1960’s. It has fantastic mid century lines and could be used as a chest of drawers, as a dressing table or even a TV stand. It is perfectly coloured in mid century teak with those gorgeous tuned legs below. The top of the lower drawer handle looks like it has had an old repair. Nothing that stops its use or can be seen unless pointed out – but we need to for honesty and transparency. Please see photograph.
A very cute and super stylish piece for whichever use you need.
