£0FREE Shipping on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
A beautifully styled early 20th Century glazed cabinet in oak. The piece dates from around 1910-1920’s and is presented in very good original condition with working lock and key. The cabinet has a good weight to it, reflecting the quality of wood used. We replaced the original leaded glass due to a number of sections being cracked or missing. We added reeded glass panels to really make the piece pop and freshen it up. The interior is also a lovely rich colour from the oak with three adjustable height shelves. There is also an additional shelf that we will include, should you wish to have four shelves inside.
A beautiful cabinet, be it for books, kitchenware and glasses, drinks, bathroom towels and toiletries – or whatever you choose.

A very stylish and superb looking old school science lab cabinet. Dating from the 1960’s the cabinet is constructed from solid beech and veneer faced bottom doors. The cabinet came to us from a school in Harrogate, where it spent its whole life. It was rescued by the teacher’s son before it was heading for its destiny in a skip! Internally it is very clean with adjustable shelf height supports on both sides. The height of the shelves can easily be adjusted or they can be removed completely. The internal bolts and handles to the exterior are all present and original. Both top and lower sections are lockable and have the keys. The lower section does have some cut outs in the back where sockets/ leads were accessed. These science lab cabinets are getting very hard to find and are so sought after; especially such original ones as this in beech. We can definitely appreciate why! The cabinet splits in to the upper and lower sections for ease of transportation and siting.
