A rare American designed and hand made two tier side table. The table is beautifully made from walnut and oak. It was designed by Andre Bus for Lane Furniture in Altavista, Virginia.
This beautiful Mid Century Modern table features a contrasting dovetail detail on the top, a signature feature of Lane’s iconic Acclaim series from the 1950’s and early 1960’s. The serial number underneath the table dates the piece to 30th January 1959. They are very highly sought after and command prices of circa $1500 USD. The only other similar one we can find available at the moment is for sale at £1495 plus shipping.
The lucky owner will have a pretty special and unique piece to treasure. A real stand out little gem of a table

This is a very stylish and comfortable 1960’s chair by Walter Knoll (Germany). It is presented in its original black leather with no rips, tears or scuffs; a couple of very minor signs of wear to the corners. The cantilever frame is of heavy gauge steel and has aged very nicely to a more satin like patina. The chair weighs circa 12+kgs which reflects the quality of construction. The leather on the seat, back and arm rests is all of good quality grade. A superb vintage chair that can be used as a desk chair, an armchair or purely dress chair. One to treasure and keep!

A superb quality, handmade toolbox by Union. These tool boxes were constructed by skilled craftsmen in the 1950’s and 1960’s and used by engineer’s, carpenters etc. The case is dove tail jointed and each drawer is finger jointed to the corners. A real sign of the quality and care taken to produce a treasured tool box. This one is produced in mahogany with all of the drawers retaining their original green baize bottom lining. All of the superb little pull drawer handles are present, as is the top carrying handle. This box unusually has the working lock and two original keys.
These boxes are now highly sought after invoking memories of parents, grand parents etc and a real keep sake for the lover of diy. We think it would make a superb and very thoughtful gift (even if that is to yourself 🙂

A very stylish and super condition 1970’s cocktail / drinks cabinet in tola wood (and African teak). We think this gorgeous Retro mirror back cabinet is very on trend at the moment . 100% original and in super condition. The cabinetry is in teak and was produced by Herbert Gibbs, which always sell very well. All sliding doors are original and in great vintage condition. The interior is very clean and flexible as to what you could store. The cabinet is shown with one shelf but has the original second shelf and original supports should you wish to add it back in to the cabinet.
Mid Century styling and fantastic value for money.

A superb desk in solid English quarter drawn oak, dating from the 1930’s. These desks typically came from a Government office/ Public Service such as Civil Servant Offices, Schools, Railways etc. This desk is stamped with GR and the crown on the original brass cup handles, together with GR VI and the crown to the underside. All drawers have their original and perfectly aged brass handles. The bottom drawer retains its original working lock and key. There is also a side flap extension to the right hand side should you need a slightly larger work space.
Now presented in a beautifully aged oak colour that only time can offer. We have had a number of these George V and George VI desks and they always sell so quickly.
This will only get better with age and appreciate in value. A superb quality antique desk.

A gorgeous c1950’s teachers desk handmade in solid beech. It dates from around the late 1940’s mid 1950’sand is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. It was issued by London City Council (1889 to 1965) and stamped LCC on the underside. The work surface is very clean and a great size for home – perfect for a regular use but stylish desk. The desk has two clean and free running drawers for storage. There is plenty of room between the legs for either a more modern and larger chair or a complementary vintage chair.
These mid Century teachers desks are always so popular. When they look like this with an LCC stamp – what is there not to love?

A gorgeous 5 drawer Architect/ Plan chest of drawers from Staverton (stamped and dated Feb 1966). The carcass and drawers are all original but we refinished them in black, with a clear wax for protection. This really makes the piece pop as the colour contrast beautifully with the refinished beech drawers. A new top was needed as the original one was way beyond repair. Internally the drawers are very clean. All in all a pretty rare and gorgeous piece!
We adore the design, colour and size of the chest. Use it now as a coffee table, a TV stand, art drawers, poster drawers etc. You choose 🙂

A beautiful and unique 1930’s mirror back cabinet re-finished in (Dulux Heritage) Mallard Green Eggshell. The cabinet came to us in a patchy dark brown finish. We fully stripped it back and painted it in a beautiful dark green to the exterior with Farrow & Ball’s Wevet on the inside. Now offering a totally unique cabinet that could be used for many things. We have styled it as a drinks cabinet but we also think it would be a superb bathroom cabinet for toiletries, spare towels etc or as a bedroom piece for perfumes, cosmetics etc.
