We have a full set of six of these dining chairs produced by Ercol. They were made in the early 1960’s and have the stamps of authenticity to the underside (please see photograph). They are beautifully designed and crafted chairs but made with everyday use in mind. With neat proportions and sleek lines the chairs work so well in contemporary, skandi, or traditional interiors. All chairs have solid joints with no movement. Beautifully aged colours to both the elm seats and beech frames. Hardwood throughout, not like most modern mass produced dining chairs these days.
The chairs are sixty years old and will bear some cosmetic signs of use, please see photographs for close up condition. These are a design classic that will just get better with age.
