A beautiful mid Century glazed bookcase that came from the library at Kings College London. It dates to around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s. It was owned by a senior professor of Cardiology that pioneered the chemicals used to safely stop the heart whilst heart surgery is performed. He purchased various cupboards and bookcases from Kings College and had them shipped to his home. This bookcase presents itself in exceptional original condition. Perfectly coloured and aged with all original glass and brass ware. It could be used as a bookcase, Drinks cabinet, display cabinet etc. You choose.
