This console is an original solid wood console table produced circa early to mid 1980’s. It is a piece we loved for it’s design, size and practicality. The piece has a good quality feel and weight to it, with dovetail joints and quality carpentry. It came to us in a tired state of dull dark brown. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue Estate Emulsion for a contemporary colour pop and very appealing matt finish. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a very contemporary and useful console table made from solid wood and offering many more years of use. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!

£0Original mid 20th Century changing room/ gym bench. Beautiful patina to both the original wooden slats forming the seat and the underslung wire baskets. The rear legs required extending as the bench was originally fitted over heating pipes. Other than that the piece is completely original. Original legs are metal with all original paint and patina. The rear extensions have been formed from vintage solid wood before being painted black to match.
We love the style and practicality offered!

£0An original Ritter (of Germany) Dental cabinet dating from around 1910-20. This was in a sorry state when it came to us but has now been fully refurbished. Standing on the original marble plinth with all original glass, shelves and handles. Unfortunately some of the glassware to the drawer handles did not survive the 100+ years. We decide to leave the bases on the drawers as they are still the original bases.
The piece has been finished in Farrow & Ball’s Green Smoke; which we think just complements the overall aesthetics perfectly.
We are unashamedly in love with this cabinet and it has lit up many eyes from the people that have seen the piece in the flesh. Stunning!
Very rare and we have not seen another one like it anywhere…..
