Very rare mid century light up RAC Garage Sign

A very rare and highly collectible piece of RAC/ Motoring memorabilia. The sign dates to around the 1950’s, constructed from a metal outer casing with Perspex letters on a white translucent Perspex background. The light has been rewired recently to hold a standard UK bayonet fitting bulb. The sign is in overall very good condition for its age. There are obviously signs of wear/ use with surface scratches. All shown in the photographs, so please view closely.
The sign now makes for a highly collectible piece, a great man cave display piece or just a light with a real difference for the petrol head in your life.
