Trio of Early 20th Century Fire Buckets with Sign

£0

FREE Delivery on this item. Far field and rural areas will incur a surcharge.

A very rare complete set of three fire buckets, complete with their original backboard, stunning cast iron hooks and enamel sign that was fitted above them. They came directly from the train station where they were fitted in 1909. Incredibly rare to find the full arrangement with such authenticity and provenance. All three buckets are in great shape and condition for their age. The buckets are still round with no major dings or misshaping. They hang from their original black painted hooks, made from heavy cast iron, all mounted on the original wooden backboard and original red paint.  Now offering the perfect aged red colour and lovely patina. The sign has some obvious enamel missing to the bottom right hand corner.

These would look stunning hung beside an open fire or log burner, holding logs, kindling, firelighters etc. Or in a commercial setting as an authentic display piece.

We also have five additional fire buckets from the same station, with the same hanging hooks. All being sold separately, or email us for a multi buy price.
