We have two sets of these four very stylish and completely original 1960’s chairs by R W Bamforth. R W Bamforth were steel furniture manufacturers based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. They produced furniture for schools and offices throughout the 1950’s and 60’s until they closed in January 1971. These chairs are made from painted steel frames with laminated plywood seats. They stack on top of each other should you wish to store away.
We love the design and adore the colour pop. The chairs have a slightly oversized appeal giving a generous seating area. we think they have exactly the right balance of age and patina that will let them match up to many different types of tables. Cool and colourful and will be perfect for somebody that loves their design and colour as much as we do.
