Quality Early 20th Century Glazed Bookcase

£0

FREE Shipping on this piece within approximately 130 mile radius of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.

A beautiful early 20th Century Edwardian glazed bookcase in original mahogany. It dates from around 1900 to 1920 and has original cabinetry, glass, internal bolts, working lock and key. It is clearly a quality piece defined by the quality of the hand carved columns and leaf work to the column tops and bottoms; together with the weight of the piece. We repainted the internal back section with Farrow & Ball Wevet colour paint. This has given the piece the mix of antique, rustic and contemporary. It is very stylish, subtle in design and very flexible in the colours – to match a vast array of room palletes. The colour is superb having aged beautifully over the last 100 years+. For the age this is in exceptional condition. There will be some small cosmetic marks on the piece, please check all photographs and just ask if you have any further questions over the condition.

Shelf heights are easily adjusted by the internal support system. We think it makes a fantastic bookcase, display cabinet and/ or drinks cabinet. It is nice and slim if you have a narrow space or depth.

Superb original antique chic charm with a very contemporary slant.

Dimensions:  122cm High, 97.5cm Max Width, 30cm Max Depth (top)

Max internal storage 14cm
