A beautiful chest of early Victorian drawers dating from around the 1830’s to 1850. They are presented in a beautifully aged mahogany finish and are in original condition throughout. The drawers are configured in a a graduated set of four free running drawers with bow fronts. The handles are the original turned button handles. All drawers are very well made with pin dovetail joints to the sides. The drawer internals are very clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free form any wobbles or loose joints. The style is certainly a heavily influenced Georgian design but the handles are more in keeping with the early Victorian era.
