FREE Shipping on this item (some remote and rural areas will incur a charge).

A superbly stylish Rex folding armchair designed by the Slovenian architect and designer Niko Kralj for Rex in 1952. The Rex chair has also been added to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The chairs were made from a variety of cutting edge design and construction methods in the 1950’s, including curved plywood and bentwood (beech). The chairs were produced in natural beech, walnut and black.  This one is in the original black paint finish and is in a very nice vintage condition. There are some small rub marks to the arms and some paint chips to the rear of the chair – all small. Please see photographs for close ups of the condition.

The chair folds flat for storage should you need to. It would also make a great desk chair. A superb designer chair that will only become more collectible.

Dimensions:

74cm Back Height, 58cm Wide, 57cm Deep.
