This is an original vintage linen bus blind in a great size and super vintage condition. This is a pretty old and well used sign, which we love! Some of the paint has flaked, showing how often this was used (to say it was a SPECIAL service too?) We bespoke mounted the blind in an antique white thick card mount and bespoke black wooden frame. With its age, size and condition the piece now offers some fantastic original vintage wall art. There are signs of use on the blind, as clearly this has been in use and rolled around many times but we would consider it in excellent vintage condition for the age. All part of its heritage and authenticity.

This is an original vintage linen bus blind in a great size and lovely original vintage condition. It came from a Bus station in Birmingham first used in late 1975 (printed 1st October 1975). We bespoke mounted the blind in an antique white thick card mount and bespoke black wooden frame. With its age, size and condition the piece now offers some fantastic original vintage wall art. There are signs of use on the blind, as clearly this has been in use and rolled around many times but we would consider it in excellent vintage condition for the age. All part of its heritage and authenticity.

An original hand painted sign dating from around the late 1920’s to early 1930’s. It is rear reverse painted and is in outstanding condition for its age. There are just some areas of ‘nibbles’ to the edges of the lettering. The glass is around 8mm thick which gives it a good solid weight. The edges of the glass are smooth and rounded. It hangs on a nice quality solid brass antique chain. All in all a beautiful sign with a very highly desirable subject matter. Hang it to make a statement (Non Smokers), laugh at the irony (Smokers) or just because it is fantastically decorative and stunning to look at. Quality and very different wall art for your home!
