A very stylish circa 1960’s bench with a very minimalist/ Scandinavian style. It is of very good quality and weighing circa 30 kgs – a reflection of the beautiful quality African Teak wood. It was hand made with some very good quality carpentry to the joint work. Very solid and heavy. We love the simplicity of the lines that will never date. The bench could be used as a hall bench, dining table bench, outside patio bench or outside table bench – amongst other uses. Very flexible and very gorgeous!
We have two of these benches available at this length and two at 199cm length (correct at time of writing)

A very stylish teak hall bench with a very minimalist/ Scandinavian style. It was hand made made by Chippy Heath furniture of United Kingdom around the mid 1960’s. It is constructed from teak throughout and has a perfectly aged colour and patina. The piece is very well put together, reflecting some quality handmade construction of all joint work. The two cute drawer also offers some very useful storage and are perfectly sized for magazines or A4. These seats by chippy Heath are highly sought after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find at sensible prices and good original condition. We very gently refurbished this piece to bring it back to its true colour and glory.
We adore the size, design, proportions and colour. A classic but very stylish piece for your home and very on trend at the moment with the mid century revival being so popular. A seat pad or cushion could be added t0 match or complement fabrics in your colour scheme/ interior design.

A fantastic late 19th Century reversible back Tram bench. This is a heavyweight bench with solid cast iron framework and back supports by W Fisher of West Bromwich (1830-1909). The lower seat supports are of exceptional design and quality with intricate gothic revival design to each of the supports. They are also stamped W Fisher of West Bromwich. The seat and back rest are perfectly aged and coloured antique pitch pine. The back of these benches can be reversed so that seating is possible from either side of the bench. They are a gorgeous piece of history and now make a superb hall bench, dining bench or garden bench. You choose!

A very stylish teak hall bench with a lovely deep drawer, dating from the 1960’s. It was hand made made by Chippy Heath furniture and constructed from teak throughout. The piece is very well put together, reflecting some quality handmade construction of all joint work. The bottom drawer also offers some very useful storage. These seats by chippy Heath are highly sought after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find at sensible prices and good original condition. We refurbished this piece to bring it back to its true colour and glory. Save for two very small ‘nibbles’ in the veneer (please see photographs) it is in exceptional condition. Hardly noticeable but we always like to show the true condition of a piece. The areas could be filled if you prefer.

A very cute teak hall bench with a minimalist Retro style. It was produced in the 1970’s for when people still had hard wired telephones in the hallway or separate room. The framework is all solid teak with the table part being teak veneer. We reupholstered the seat to give it a freshen up and complementary colour pop.
We love the cute look and how stylish but practical it still is for a compact space.

A very cute and stylish teak hall bench with shelves, dating from the 1960’s. It is constructed from solid teak throughout. The piece is very well put together, reflecting some quality handmade construction of all joint work. Most probably G Plan but we can not find the manufacturers label (these stickers often fall off) but it is very much of the G Plan style. The bench also has storage on the side. The seat pad has been reupholstered in a gorgeous plush teal colour to really make it pop and bring it in to 2021.
