A very stylish and solid mid century oak desk handmade in oak. It dates from around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s and is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. It presents itself in a beautifully coloured oak with superb original patina and a really nicely sized work surface for home use. With six free running drawers there is also a lot of very useful storage space. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height deep filing type drawer for extra storage.
English oak with quality dovetails joints to all five pedestal drawers. The drawer internals are also very clean.
The build and quality will mean these desks can only appreciate in value if looked after well.

This chest has the advantage of being much easier to accommodate than a full plan chest set of drawers. We love the style and condition, together with the perfectly aged brass label holders. The drawers are very clean and offer lost of really useful storage.
All the look of a plan chest in a much easier to accommodate size. Superb.

A great set of original mid century steel filing drawers in the best perfectly aged green colour. Produced by Roneo around the late 1950’s the drawers are in a superb colour and condition, with all original handles and label holders; complete with working lock and key. A very nice size for home or office. The cabinet and drawers have all been fully cleaned and the runners re-oiled. Each of the four drawers have the original suspension file hanging frames still present. Superb condition for its age with plenty of industrial design and character. Industrial style and practicality all rolled in to one.

An exceptionally clean set of mid century steel filing drawers by Harvey Milner. Superb original vintage green colour, and amazing condition. A very nice size for home or office. The cabinet and drawers have all been fully cleaned and the runners re-oiled. The drawers will hold A4 suspension files and still have the side rails present. The handles and label holders are all original and present, along with the working lock and key.
Superb condition and much rarer than most of the vintage filing cabinets made by Roneo, Stor and Art Metal. Milner distinguished their industrial steel furniture by their rounded edges and corners. Much more difficult to produce than straight and square edges. For this reason Milner seem to have a dedicated following to match other pieces of their steel furniture such as desks, tall cabinets etc.
Industrial style and practicality all rolled in to one. Cabnets of this age are very rarely seen in this condition. This one came from the estate in Rutland.

With the dimensions of the desk it is a vey useable desk without taking up too much space. At 57cm deep it will also pass easily through most doorways, so that positioning should not be a major issue. With four free running drawers there is also a lot of very useful storage space.
English radial cut oak with through dovetails joints to the pull out drawers and dovetails on the three pedestal drawers.
