A superb and naïve set of workshop drawers. We think a hobbyist would have used some old library/ index drawers to make up a chest of workshop drawers for his shed/ garage/ workshop. The piece looks dated to around the 1930’s and is a very solid piece in heavy oak throughout. A number of the drawers needed new bottom liners, which does make them a lot cleaner internally. We love the history and naivety, the quality and colour of the oak; together with the perfectly aged brass label holders and handles.
They can now be used for many storage needs but each drawer is large enough to hold a bottle of wine, gin, whisky etc.
Overall Dimensions: 97.5cm High, 86cm Wide, 70cm Deep
Each drawer measures 12cm High (face), 15.5cm wide internal storage, 48cm Deep.

An unusual and fantastic example of an original mid century industrial metal drawers cabinet. Dated 1956 (from the drawer dividers) it is very hard to find these style of drawers in this condition. They are normally rusted and battered from heavy use with drawers missing. This set is is unusual in that it has been made in to a cabinet/ side table using original vintage oak timber and brass rivets. We love the crossover form steel industrial design that has been softened with the oak and brass detailing. It now makes for an unusual cabinet / side table with bags of character and rustic style.
Superb industrial styling that could be aside/ lamp table, hall table, bedside table or craft store etc. Just think what you could store in those gorgeous drawers……….

This is a rare find. A mid Century steel engineer’s pigeon hole cabinet in steel. It was manufactured by Roneo (latterly Roneo Vickers) in the 1940’s to 50’s. Roneo were more famous for their steel desks and filing cabinets of this time. We have seen many of these units with the pull out index card type drawers but none with a door and manufactured by Roneo.
It is a great size for home use sat on a desk or table, pedestal etc. Or as a side table, plant stand etc. It could be perfect for crafters and collectors too.
Superb mid century industrial styling in very good condition for its age and history of original use.

This is a stunning mid to late 19th Century engineer’s pigeon hole cabinet. It is constructed from original pitch pine with superbly aged drawers and original handles. This would have been used by an engineer or carpenter in the workshop for storing nails, screws, nuts and bolts etc. Clearly it has been handed down over the years and used by more recent owners. The writing on the front of the pigeon holes dates from various ages (estimate late 19th Century to mid 20th Century).
It is a rustic piece absolutely bursting with charm and character from its many years in use. The piece has been fully cleaned and waxed ready for use in your home, restaurant, workshop etc.
We adore this piece. Very hard to find in such original condition.
