£0FREE UK Mainland Delivery on this lamp.
This lamp was bought new by an Army Office in 1972. When he brought it home his wife hated the colour, proclaiming “Do you not think we see enough green (things) every day? You had to buy a green lamp?!” Disregarding his wife’s view he sat the lamp on his bedside table, where he had it until last week (Oct 2020). Despite his wife’s attempts at moving it, redecorating, suggesting a new replacement etc. What a fantastic story? Given where it has sat since new, the condition is as good as it gets. Completely original and pretty much flawless, though obviously the paintwork has aged beautifully. This was very tough to decide to sell this lamp, for all of the reasons above.
An original 1970’s Type 75 Anglepoise lamp in its original and rare gorgeous green paint colour. Herbert Terry produced the Type 75 for Anglepoise from 1968 to 1973. In 1983 the Type 90 lamps were taken to mass produced (Type 90 Apex) and no longer produced by Herbert Terry in Redditch. A very nicely styled and aged original lamp in a great colour and original vintage condition. The condition is very good original condition, please see all photographs for close up condition shots. The lamp also has the stamp of the Anglepoise Trademark and Herbert Terry on the base fork uprights (see photographs) to prove its heritage and authenticity.
Very popular vintage lamps that sell really quickly – and we completely understand why. They look fantastic already but will just keep getting better with time. We don’t think you could find an original Type 75 lamp in better condition and certainly not with a better story?

Read moreEarly 20th Century Industrial Inspection Lamp
£0FREE UK Shipping on this lamp.
An original early 20th Century inspection lamp in super original condition. Very rare to find these lamps in such amazing condition. Most of the cages have been battered, rusted, misshaped etc. We rewired and earthed the lamp with a new antique brass lamp holder and black braided electrical cord. The handle is in its original wood with just some gentle wear. The cage has great patina.
The lamp can be sat on a desk, table, shelf etc. It can also be suspended from its cord. Either way it offers some unique and atmospheric lighting. The bulb required is a standard UK bayonet (BC) fitting with a whole array of colours and wattage to achieve the exact light you are looking for.
We love the style and the character. If only this lamp could tell you some of it’s stories…..?

£0FREE UK Mainland Delivery on this lamp.
An original WL2 Anglepoise lamp black shade. Designed by George Carwardine & Kenneth George in the 1960’s this lamp dates to the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. It is in very good original condition with only a few very small blemishes to the black shade. The base is made form heavy cast iron, together with an aluminium adjustable arm and black plastic shade. It is a classic 1960’s design piece from the very well established stable that produced all of the more familiar Anglepoise lamps. We love the simplicity, very clean lines and over all look. It is retro but also very contemporary in its minimalist design. It would make any desk instantly style up. Both Anglepoise stickers in tact to prove its heritage.

Read more1960’s Swedish Machinist lamp by Ledu (never used)
£0FREE UK Delivery on this item. Please email us for Europe and worldwide prices.
An original industrial machinist’s lamp in unused condition! We couldn’t believe our luck when we found this early 1960’s lamp in its original box, never fitted up or used. Very rare to find these lamps in such amazing condition. Great colour and patina with a beautiful bespoke base, made from a piece of 1960’s teak to match the age of the lamp. There are some surface marks to the shade and a few marks on an arm but for a lamp that is around 60 years old it is in unbelievable condition. The shade is correctly in shape and the inside of the shade is outstanding for its age.
We love the style and the character. This is a pretty exceptional and unique lamp. Be quick……
