An original chest of gorgeous early 20th drawers in mahogany. The drawers date from around the 1930’s. The chest comes complete with their original swan neck handles. We stripped the tired old brown varnish and refinished in Farrow & Ball Railings with a clear wax finish for protection.
We love the chic timeless colour and style! The storage is generous with all drawers running easily and cleaned internally. This chest of drawers could be used in practically any room you needed them.
Please note the drawers are over 140 years old and they will have minor cosmetic marks to the front and some signs of wear. Please see all photographs for the true condition and just ask if you need more detailed photos.

This piece dates to the later part of the 19th Century, Victorian era. It was handmade in mahogany with a very nice weight and some beautiful book matched drawer fronts. All of the handles are the original quality glass handles, free form chips and are beautifully designed. Originally the top would have been used for a water bowl and jug for washing. Now these wash stand are used as bedroom drawers, bathroom, hallways etc. We fully stripped the whole frame and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Railings. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a classic and chic piece with plenty of options for use.

An original set of mid 19th Century Georgian drawers. The drawers date from around 1830-1860 and are graduated in depth from the top two drawers. They are well constructed form solid wood and all drawers are clean and run freely. The design is very classically Georgian as can be seen on the original swan neck brass handle design and the feet design. We fully stripped the chest and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Railings with a clear wax coat for protection against knocks and spills etc.
We love the colour and the fully finished effect. Transformed from dowdy ‘brown’ to a contemporary classic that will adapt and fit with a plethora of interior styles. The storage is generous and super stylish. This chest of drawers could be used in practically any room you needed them.

An original set of early 20th Century Art Nouveau drawers. The drawers date from around 1910-20 and are graduated in depth from the top to bottom. They are well constructed from solid wood and all drawers are exceptionally clean inside (please see photographs). The drawers all have working locks and one key that locks and opens all three drawers. The design is very much Art Nouveau inspired, as can be seen on the handle design and drawer fronts. We fully stripped the chest and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Railings with a clear wax coat for protection against knocks and spills etc.

An original Georgian chest of generously proportioned and well made drawers. The drawers date from around 1830-1860 and are graduated in depth from top to bottom and come complete with their original beautifully turned wooden handles. We fully stripped the chest and refinished in Farrow & Ball Railings. The piece was then gently distressed for character and decorative finish. Finally a finish layer of dark wax was applied for resilience and protection of the paintwork.
