£0FREE Two man Ground Floor Delivery on this piece, within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
A truly exceptional circa late 1920’s to early 1930’s Butchers Block. It is without question the best, most ornate and heaviest butchers block we have seen. It is pure Art Deco in its design, both in shape and decorative details. It is made predominantly from oak and pine. The block alone probably weighs over 80kgs. The piece offer slots of original storage with its two very deep drawers and lower storage behind the two up and over bottom doors. The left hand door is a new replacement, made professionally by a local carpenter to match the size, shape and design of the (lost) original. There are two patches of very old woodworm (please see photographs). The whole piece has been thoroughly treated and left for weeks, to check.
It is a very rare piece and offers an opportunity to acquire an exceptional statement for the right kitchen or commercial design setting. Just exquisite!
Dimensions:
150cm Wide, 72cm Max Depth, 88cm high to top of block (124cm to top of rear gallery)

£0A stunning kitchen island handmade by us from 19th Century English Oak and turn of the Century antique pine frame. We love the styling of butcher’s blocks but aren’t so keen on the reality of their original use. So we created the style and practicality from original materials and kept all of the character of antique wood. We think it’s the best of both worlds and love the look and feel of this. Commissions can be taken to make these to your own specific measurements.
