A pretty chest of two over two graduated drawers in original condition. The drawers have the perfectly coloured and aged oak finish, complete with all original handles. All four drawers run easily and are clean inside with their original sides and bottoms. The scalloped low skirt adds feminine lines that the Edwardians were renowned for. In a beautifully aged colour this chest is a classic that will complement so many colour palletes and interior styles.

A beautiful early 20th Century Wellington chest of drawers in oak. They date from around the 1920’s to 1930 and are presented in beautiful quality radial cut oak throughout. All eight drawers run smoothly and are hand made with pin dovetail joints and their original oak turned button handles. The colour and grain of the oak are amazing. Such a beautiful piece perfect for storing whatever you treasure – sewing, crafts, magazines, collectables etc. It could also be a superb tall lamp or side table.
A very heavy piece for its size, reflecting the quality of oak and thickness used. Storage doesn’t come much better than this?

A great looking early 20th Century set of drawers in oak. We bought these drawers as we love the ‘Plan Chest’ styling. Good coloured oak with a nicely aged patina, they have numbers on the drawer fronts with some age and later added brass label holders. The chest has good weight to it reflecting the good quality oak construction. Very much plan chest styling that most people can easily accommodate due to their size. Just a nice looking solid chest of antique drawers. Something different from the masses, for sure.
