A original turn of the Century cupboard in beautifully aged and coloured mahogany. The cupboard dates to around 1890-1910 and is unusual in it’s height and width. We think the cupboard has so many uses as a shoe cupboard, toiletries, a bathroom cabinet etc. The piece retains all of its original brass ware, working lock and one key.

A original Edwardian cupboard in beautifully aged and coloured oak. The cupboard sits on its original square cup brass castors and ceramic wheels, together with some beautiful original brass hinges. There is also pretty borderwork to the door, all hand carved. Internally the pigeon holes offer very useful storage for books, magazines, papers, sheet music etc. Stylish when closed and super practical when opened. Exactly what we love to offer.

A very cute and stylish oak hall bench with cupboard dating from the early 20th Century. It is constructed from English radial cut top quality oak throughout. The piece is very heavy for its size, reflecting the quality and thickness of the oak used and the handmade construction of all joint work, in mortice and tenon joints. The cupboard is so useful, both in its size and having a removable shelf. The pedestal also has a separate pull out shelf. Clearly this would make a fantastic hall or boot bench. The cupboard can be used for shoes, magazines, books, or anything else you may wish to keep tidy and out of sight.
We adore the size, proportions, quality and colour of the oak. A classic but very stylish piece for your home.

A super stylish oak cupboard dating from the early 1930’s. It is constructed from oak and oak veneer, with pine internals, all mounted on its original cabriole legs. The cupboard is so useful, both in its size and having 9 gorgeous pigeon holes inside. Clearly this would make a fantastic hall cupboard or boot room cupboard to keep all the shoes off the floor. However, it could also be a handbag cupboard, magazine storage or enclosed bookcase.
The top is a high gloss black insert. We are not sure if this is original or a later addition but it certainly has some age and is fitted very tight at the edges etc. Some surface marks and scratches are evident close up but the camera didn’t catch them due to the high gloss finish. No damage, just wear.
Classic styling and a hider of unsightly things!
