A very stylish mid century teacher’s desk in beautiful oak. It dates from around the mid to late 1960’s and is in beautiful condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from a retired teacher in Leicestershire. She purchased the desk from the school where she worked to have it at home. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals – one just a shelf, the other containing the original plastic stationery tray.

£0FREE Delivery on this piece within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
A very stylish mid century desk with very large drawers. It dates from around the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s and is in super condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. The desk is extremely well made from solid hardwood throughout. It offers a very generous work surface even though it is not an oversized desk. The drawers however are certainly oversized. The two pedestal drawers are both vey deep and high for filing with sectional dividers in to the side slots. The two kneehole drawers are also of very generous proportions offering lots of storage, to match the generous work surface. All drawers run well and are very clean internally.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working but not too deep for most people to be able to accommodate. Stylish, solid and built to last!
Overall Dimensions: 76.5cm High, 137cm Wide, 75cm Deep (excludes handles protrusions)
Kneehole: 60cm height clearance, 86cm wide
