An original, circa 1950’s Bankers (or Piano) lamp in chromed steel with white glass shade. The lamp came to us in a sorry state and needed a good clean up. It is presented with a good weight and really solid condition; completely original throughout. The head of the lamp rotates to allow the light to be directed to where you need it. The bulb is a standard UK Bayonet fitting which is accessed by removing the glass shade.
A super stylish lamp in lovely vintage condition that casts a really lovely light.

An original industrial factory lamp in completely original condition. It dates to around 1940-50 and is in great condition for its age and past use. It came to us from a factory in Budapest. We cleaned the lamp, got the articulated joints moving and oiled. We then added some new twisted grey fabric cord and mounted it on a bespoke oak mount. The oak is also mid century to match the age of the lamp. The angle of the lamp is highly adjustable via the base ball joint and also via the articulated goose neck arm.
We love the style and the character. This lamp is a superb example of an original mid century industrial lamp. If only this lamp could tell you some of it’s stories…..?

We then added some new twisted black fabric cord and mounted it on a bespoke oak mount. The oak is also mid century to match the age of the lamp. Both arms adjust in height and position via the original wing nut fastenings

We love the style and the character. It does show plenty of signs of wear and some dings in the shade. All within the photographs and all adding to its heritage and authenticity. If only this lamp could tell you some of it’s stories…..?
