A superb example of mid century industrial design. This gorgeous green steel desk was produced by Roneo (later to become Roneo Vickers). It dates to the 1960’s and is a very rare example in this condition. It is in completely original green paintwork and is exceptional for the age of the piece and its industrial/ utilitarian heritage. The desk has three very useful drawers, original handles and even the original makers badge on the front of the pedestal. Most desks of this age and style have dents and rusting. The top of this desk is also exceptional when you consider their heavy use over the years and age. There are indentations on the desk and we have taken photos to show the overall condition. Please see these for the exact condition.
These mid Century industrial desks are very highly sought after. With the condition and size of this desk it is perfect for the home with plenty of work surface for very regular unrestricted use.

A superb example of mid century industrial design. This is a gorgeous compact steel desk by Harvey (Milner). It would date to circa late 1950’s to 1960’s and is a very rare example being produced by the Harvey Milner Company. It is in completely original condition and is exceptional for the age of the piece and its industrial/ utilitarian heritage. The desk has the cutest little drawers and cupboard, original handles and the makers badge on the front. Most desks of this age and style have dents and rusting. The top of this desk is also exceptional when you consider their heavy use over the years and age. This top is as good as we have seen on desk of this style and age.

A great example of the very popular machinists stools produced by Singer in the mid 20th Century. This one dates from around the 1950’s in a nicely aged gloss black finish. The seat height is adjustable via the tumb turn screw (see photograph). Great industrial styling but still very stylish and pretty sleek.

The desk has two free running drawers, original handles and the makers metal badge on the front. There is also half of the original suppliers sticker on the front of the desk A.Greensmith & Co. (Hull). All four legs also have the original black steel cap ends, which is very unusual. Most desks of this age and style have them rusted and fallen off.

A very simple and sleek example of an original industrial stool. Beautiful patina to the whole frame and back support. Unfortunately this one had clearly seen a lot of work, as the seat had disintegrated and was completely unusable. We have modelled the original seat with a wooden replacement. No loss of style just made it perfectly usable again.
All round fantastic stool. Very cool and tactile.
