A super cute and stylish mid century glazed bookcase in teak and glass. Dating from the 1960’s in solid teak with original doors and internal shelf all in very good condition. The shelf can be adjusted for height or removed completely. We love the size, the lines and the cutest little legs.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, display cabinet etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Super cute mid century styling at such a great value for money price.

A super cute and stylish mid century glazed bookcase in aged mahogany and glass. We estimate that it was produced in the 1950’s to early 1960’s and certainly of the Edwardian design influence. The shelves can easily be adjusted for height or removed completely. It is shown with two shelves but actually has three and will be supplied with all three. We love the size, the lines and the ability to drop in to pretty much any room you need it!

It retains all of its original six sliding glass doors. It has a good weight from the quality of oak used, together with the glass doors. A very stylish and completely original 1950’s glazed bookcase. The bookcase is constructed from solid wood throughout, which is reflected in the weight of the piece. It is in completely original condition with both sliding glass doors free form any chips to the edges. There is one scratch to the left door which is not visible until very close (unable to photograph). It couldn’t be more 1950’s in its styling – and sits atop the cutest little turned legs. A real treasure.

A very stylish and unique mid century glazed bookcase. Handwritten inside dates the piece to at least 1948. We refinished the carcass in Farrow & Ball Off Black to give it a whole new lease of life and some real interest, via the contrast with the original wood finish. The glass is original, along with a working lock and key. We love the finished piece – nice and compact but packing a real unique style statement. Use it as a bookcase, magazine store, bathroom cabinet, drinks cabinet etc etc. Whatever you need it to be.

A super cute and stylish mid century glazed bookcase in teak and glass. Produced in the 1960’s it is handmade form teak, with its four original sliding glass doors. It has a nice weight from the quality of teak used, together with the glass doors. We love the size, the lines and those cute little legs! The bookcase has all four of it’s original glass sliding doors. There is one glass chip to the edge of the upper glass door (circa 2cm). Not very noticeable until viewing up close but we clearly have to point this out. The chip is reflected in the price.
The lower shelf has some adjustment on height, or can be removed completely. If you need any further close ups or have any questions, just ask us.

A super quality mid century glazed bookcase in oak and walnut. Produced in the 1960’s it is completely original throughout with some real signs of quality. The carcass and shelves are solid oak with the lower doors being walnut veneered and book matched on the beautiful grain. We love the size, the lines and the perfectly aged colour. The bookcase has it’s original heavy glass sliding doors. We could not find a makers badge but it is certainly a quality piece, akin to Morris of Glasgow and Heals.
