A very stylish and superb looking old school science lab cabinet. Dating from the 1960’s the cabinet is constructed from solid beech and veneer faced bottom doors. The cabinet came to us from a school in Harrogate, where it spent its whole life. It was rescued by the teacher’s son before it was heading for its destiny in a skip! Internally it is very clean with adjustable shelf height supports on both sides. The height of the shelves can easily be adjusted or they can be removed completely. The internal bolts and handles to the exterior are all present and original. Both top and lower sections are lockable and have the keys. The lower section does have some cut outs in the back where sockets/ leads were accessed. These science lab cabinets are getting very hard to find and are so sought after; especially such original ones as this in beech. We can definitely appreciate why! The cabinet splits in to the upper and lower sections for ease of transportation and siting.
Perfect as a book store, magazines etc or a drinks cabinet to mix up your own special potions. Superb clean lines, in great condition and a superb colour. Very on trend!

A very stylish and superb looking old school science lab cabinet. Dating from the 1950’s the cabinet is constructed from solid teak with original glass doors. There is a stamp to the rear of ER and the crown. This means it was a Government issue in to the school. Internally the cabinet still has its original solid teak shelves with brass adjustable shelf height supports on both sides. The height of the shelves can easily be adjusted or they can be removed completely. The internal bolts and handles to the exterior are all present and original. These science lab cabinets are getting very hard to find and are so sought after; especially such original ones as this in solid teak. We can definitely appreciate why!
Perfect as a book store, magazines etc or a drinks cabinet to mix up your own special potions. Superb clean lines, in great condition and a superb colour. Very on trend!

A very cool and superb looking old school science lab cupboard. Dating from the 1960’s the cabinet is constructed from solid teak framework with dovetail joints. The cupboard has super colour and patina and is very on trend right now. Internally the cupboard is clean with one (original) shelf that can be moved up or down on the shelf supports. The doors have their original brass hinges, bolts, working lock and key. A fantastic piece that is deep enough to hold lots of vinyls, or large dinner plates, bottles etc etc. Whatever you need it for.

A very cool old school science lab cabinet. Dating from the 1930’s the cabinet is constructed from solid teak and teak veneer with original glass doors. It was produced by German manufacturers PLAN. The cabinet is in very good original condition and the top has the perfectly aged and well used patina. There are a couple of cosmetic marks to the top which have been photographed up close, so please check all photos. The doors retain their original Lab handles, complete with a lock and key. As you would expect with German pieces it is well made, has a good weight and was built to last. The piece does split in to two for ease of transportation and siting in the room of your choice.
With a generous double cupboard at the bottom and glazed section above, the cabinet now offers plenty of old school cool styling with a huge dose of practicality. Perfect as a drinks cabinet, book store, magazines etc etc. Superb clean lines, in great condition and a superb colour. Very on trend!

The cabinet is in very good original condition and the top has the perfectly aged and well used patina. There are obvious wear marks to the top which tell the story of use of this fantastic piece. The doors retain their original Lab location labels in engraved plastic.
With a generous double cupboard and two drawer above, the cabinet now offers plenty of old school cool styling with a huge dose of practicality. Perfect as a drinks cabinet, book store, magazines etc etc. We can repaint the bottom black strip if you prefer. We like it showing the original wear but it is easy to re paint in a matt black if you prefer a more ‘refurbished’ look.
We also have two of these units with single door and drawer above available.
