A very stylish and super cute telephone seat dating from the 1960’s to early 1970’s. It was produced by Chippy Heath and are now very popular indeed! The piece is not only cute but also very practical with the two sliding door cupboard below. Very useful storage. These seats by chippy Heath are highly sought after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find at sensible prices and good original condition. The seat is original but has been reupholstered in a golden velvet fabric to complement the teak colouring.
We adore the size, design, proportions and colour. A classic but very stylish piece for your home and very on trend at the moment with the mid century revival being so popular.

It is constructed from teak throughout and has a perfectly aged colour and patina. The piece is very well put together, reflecting some quality handmade construction of all joint work. The two cute drawers also offers some very useful storage and are perfectly sized for magazines or A4. These seats by chippy Heath are highly sought after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find at sensible prices and good original condition.

A very stylish solid wooden hall bench dating from the 1960’s. It was hand made made by Chippy Heath furniture and is well constructed throughout in teak. These seats by chippy Heath are highly sought after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find at sensible prices and good original condition. This piece is completely original throughout, retaining its original seat and pull out tray to write down telephone numbers (oh how times have changed?). Please not that the back cane effect is not cane work. It is cane pattern printed on a board and is completely original.

It was hand made with some very good quality carpentry to the joint work. Very solid and heavy. We love the simplicity of the lines that will never date. The bench could be used as a hall bench, dining table bench, outside patio bench or outside table bench – amongst other uses. Very flexible and very gorgeous!
We have two of these benches available at this length and two at 179cm length (correct at time of writing)

A very stylish teak hall bench with a lovely deep drawer, dating from the 1960’s. It was hand made made by Chippy Heath furniture and constructed from teak throughout. The piece is very well put together, reflecting some quality handmade construction of all joint work. The bottom drawer also offers some very useful storage. These seats by chippy Heath are highly sought after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find at sensible prices and good original condition. We refurbished this piece to bring it back to its true colour and glory. Save for two very small ‘nibbles’ in the veneer (please see photographs) it is in exceptional condition. Hardly noticeable but we always like to show the true condition of a piece. The areas could be filled if you prefer.
