An original mid century hand painted fair ground sign dating from around the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s. It would have been part of a fairground ride in its hey day. It is reputedly from an amusement park on the East cost of Lincolnshire, though we found it in South Devon! Constructed form fibreglass it tells its full story of use, repair, re-painting etc. Many decades of paint and weather wear are evident, giving it fantastic originality and authenticity. A cheeky chap waiting for the perfect space to hang and bring many a smile again.

A fantastic looking heavy enamelled sign, dating form the mid century, 1950’s to mid 1960’s. It is hand painted on steel with perfectly aged colours and is in superb vintage condition – with all the right signs of wear for authenticity. An original hand painted sign on acrylic. The sign came form west ham baths in East London, where it has spent its whole life. The sign is reverse hand painted on the rear, retaining superb colour and paintwork. We love the style, colours and provenance of this sign. It is already fantastic but will age just perfectly. The acrylic has one crack to the right hand side, approximately 5cm.
The sign can be fixed to a wall with the holes current in the sign, it could be hung via a chain or framed and hung. A super addition for home or commercial use. Character and style!

A fantastic looking original 1940’s SMOKING PROHIBITED sign. This sign dates to around the late 1930’s to mid 1940’s. It was originally hung in a railway station office on the Midland Mainline.
