A superb looking 1960’s green steel desk in very good original condition. So many of these desks are in poor condition with dents, scratches, rust etc. No surprise given their industrial use over the last 60 years or more? This one is in the best and most sought after colour green with its original black top. The desk is in very good original condition with some dents and marks, reflecting its previous factory use. All six drawers are clean and run well, the bottom right hand drawer being a double height filing drawer. There are also two pull out shelves at the top of each pedestal (see photograph).
These mid Century industrial/ tanker desks are very highly sought after. With the condition and size of this desk it is perfect for regular use, with a very generous work surface and lost of very useful storage. All of the fantastic industrial design in the best colour with perfectly aged brass handles.

A superb looking 1960’s green steel desk in exceptional original condition. So many of these desks are in poor condition with dents, scratches, rust etc. No surprise given their industrial use over the last 60 years or more? This one is in the best and most sought after colour green with its original green top. The desk is in outstanding condition with very few marks. The top does show signs of its industrial heritage but it is perfectly in tact and completely solidly stuck down. The marks are purely cosmetic, reflecting the authenticity of the desk. All three drawers are clean and run well.
These mid Century industrial desks are very highly sought after. With the condition and size of this desk it is perfect for the home. All of the fantastic industrial design and style in a perfectly compact package.

A pretty exceptional example of mid century industrial design by Sheep Pride (England). It dates from the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s and is a rare find in this condition. We have sourced many industrial desks but this is certainly one of the best we have found! It is in completely original green paintwork and is exceptional condition for the age of the piece and its industrial/ utilitarian heritage. The desk has six drawers in total, all with original handles, perfectly aged in brass. Most desks of this age and style have dents and rusting. The top of this desk is also very when you consider their heavy use over the years and age. The top does have a few cosmetic issues. There is a small ding to the steel edging (circa 2cm), a quirky repair in leather to the front right edge (10cm wide x 1cm deep) and a rear corner repair, again in leather (14cm diagonal, 4 cm at deepest point – easily hidden by a desk lamp, vase etc.) Please see extensive photographs for the exact condition and just ask if you need any more detail. All drawers are very clean and run smoothly. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. A solid desk of great quality and a real stand out piece of industrial design.

A very unusual mid century industrial design steel desk. It dates from the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s and is from an RAF Military base. We have sourced many industrial desks but this is certainly one of the most unusual we have found! It is in completely original green covering, over steel and is in super condition for the age of the piece and its military heritage. The desk has three free running drawers in total along with a top pull out stationery tray. All of the handles are completely original and in fantastic condition. Most desks of this age and style have dents and rusting. The top of this desk is also in very good condition when you consider their heavy use over the years and age.
