The light has been rewired with a new bulb holder, black twisted fabric cord and test tube led bulb. Chains could be added if you wanted to suspend the lightbox.

An original mid Century Emergency Exit light up sign. It dates from around the late 1940’s to late 1950’s. The black wooden casing has been re-wired with an LED test tube bulb to give a warm squirrel cage vintage light. The front plate is metal with original gorgeous patina. Behind the plate is frosted glass to give the muted light effect. The cable is black fabric twisted cord. It can obviously sit as a desk or bedside table lamp, side lamp etc. But it would look equally as gorgeous wall mounted, or hung on chains.

An original mid Century metal cased Emergency Exit light up sign. It dates from around the late 1940’s to late 1950’s. The black metal casing is totally original and has some fantastic patina to it, reflecting the heritage and use in a cinema theatre. The frosted glass is still present in both the front section and strip below (please see photographs). The light can be sat on a surface, as photographed or hung from chains (supplied). The light has been rewired with 3 core black twisted fabric cable for safety. It can be wired in to your lighting circuit to switch on via a switch or a plug added to simply plug in to a socket. Please ensure you use qualified tradesmen for correct wiring in to the circuit.
