We absolutely adore these original antique weighing scales. Dating from the early 20th Century (1922) and stamped XXII they were produced by quality manufactures F.Goux of Lyon. The scales are predominantly in painted cast iron. The paint is a beautiful aged green. The piece de resistance is the head of the scales with superb detailed cast iron design and even better heavy top quality aged brass. So stunning to look at!
In the right room these would just make the whole room sing. Perfect in a bathroom, bedroom etc. Although the scales appear to be fully working. We are selling them as untested and for decorative purposes. We are pretty confident they could be calibrated to be working as they should be.
