A beautiful early Edwardian triptych cast iron mirror in stunning form. This mirror is English, c1900-1920 and would have originally hung above a cast iron fireplace or in a bedroom. The cast of the frame is stunning with lots of detailed relief work in the form of flowers and leaves. The condition is exceptional with no cracks or missing pieces, which is quite common with old cast iron pieces. The three pieces of mirrored glass are a later addition with bevel edges. The mirrors do have some age as they are also displaying some frosting – which all adds to the authenticity and beauty of the piece. A stunning mirror that could be hung wherever you choose.
