A beautifully coloured tambour filing cabinet in Oak, dating from the early 20th Century (c. 1920’s). The cabinet comes with all of its original pull out haberdashery type trays, handle, escutcheon, working lock and key which are quite rare to find on these cabinets. All of the trays run very easily and are easily removable to accommodate whatever you need to store. We love the colour, size and quality of oak on this cabinet. The door runs freely and has a working lock and key.

A rare find! A beautifully coloured tambour filing cabinet in Oak, dating from the early 20th Century (c. 1930’s). The cabinet comes with all of its original pull out haberdashery type shelves and brass label holders, which are just gorgeous and rare to find in these cabinets. All of the trays run very easily and are easily removable to accommodate whatever you need to store. We love the colour, size and quality of oak on this cabinet. It weights approximately 70 kgs, reflective of the quality of English oak used in its handmade construction. Beautiful craftsmanship. The door runs freely and has a working lock and key.

An amazing tambour cabinet in Oak, dating from the 1930’s. The cabinet comes with all of its original pull out haberdashery type drawers and brass label holders, which are just gorgeous. The right hand side of each drawer is scooped, as these cupboards originally held paperwork/ filing in each drawer. The bottom two drawers do not open, they are fixed fascias. All other 14 drawers open as they should. The door runs well though the lock has been removed. The condition of the oak cabinet is solid and in very good order for its age. The drawer fronts have their original and natural colour variations due to the grain and patination over the years.
A beautiful tambour cabinet which are always so popular when we can find them! This piece offers beautiful styling with lots of flexible storage capabilities.

A very attractive and beautifully coloured single tambour cabinet in Oak, dating from the early 20th Century (c. 1930’s). The cabinet comes with its original pull out haberdashery type shelves and brass label holders, which are just gorgeous and rare to find in these cabinets. All of the trays are easily removable, or height adjustable to accommodate whatever you need to store. We love the colour, size and quality of oak on this cabinet. The size is perfect for the home and could be used as a cabinet for drinks, books, magazines, towels, CD’s etc etc.
The carcass does have a couple of cosmetic ‘dings’ as can be expected with the age of the piece. The door has two old split slats (photographed) and there is no lock or key for the door. An exceptional antique French triple door tambour cabinet in Oak, dating from the early part of the 20th Century (c. mid 1930’s to late 1940’s). It comes with original handles, three working locks and three keys, together with lots of removable and adjustable internal shelves. We adore the colour, size and condition on this cabinet. The size is very impressive and offers a true statement piece. There is lots of flexible storage by removing shelves, changing the spacing between them, adding new ones etc. You can get the configuration of shelves exactly as you need them, depending what you would like to use it for. All three doors run exactly as they should and the locks work well (spring loaded release).

A truly stunning and beautifully coloured tambour cabinet in Oak, dating from the 1930’s. It came to us from an avid film collector in Hertfordshire. He used it to store slides; and hence why the drawers are lined with a crushed velvet type material. He sold this piece to us as he needed a bigger cabinet for his ever expanding collection!
The cabinet comes with all of its original pull out haberdashery type drawers and brass label holders, which are just gorgeous. The right hand side of each drawer is scooped, as these cupboards originally held paperwork/ filing in each drawer. All of the drawers run freely. There is also a very useful lockable cupboard to the lower section. The tambour door runs easily and also has its original lock and key. We adore everything about this piece – the size, the design work, the colour, and its history.
