Rare Fry’s Chocolate Shop Display Cabinet
£0Free Hand delivery on this item within approximately 130 of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a charge to send via couriers. We won’t send this via any of the Parcel carrier services.
A superb Fry’s Chocolate/ Confectionery shop display cabinet. Dating from the early 20th Century and probably 1910-1920, the cabinet is made from oak wood framework, glass and hand painted signage in gold. Most of the original sign writing is still in tact, as can be seen in the photographs. It would have sat on either the shop counter or floor displaying the Fry’s chocolate and cocoa products for sale in the shop.
The interior is accessed by two up and over doors, both with original glass and brass handles. Any original antique chocolate/ confectionery display cabinets are very hard to find in such good condition and are increasingly sought after. Styled now as a bookcase but could hold cups, glasses, soft toys, trophies, etc etc.
It makes such a stunning decorative piece that almost every visitor will want to see and admire.

Original Mid Century Lyons Cakes Shop Display Cabinet
£0Free Hand delivery on this item within approximately 130 of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a charge to send via couriers. We won’t send this via any of the Parcel carrier services.
A superb Lyons Cakes shop display cabinet. Dating from the mid 20th Century circa 1950-1960, the cabinet is made from heavy glass and is a solid heavy piece. The bottom is the original milk glass bottom too. Very hard to find these without cracks to the glass or missing pieces and to still have the branding in such excellent condition is a real treat. It can obviously be used as a commercial or home use cabinet; or can be a purely decorative piece. A fantastic piece of vintage commercial history which came all the way from Belfast, close to the Titanic ship building yards.
Dimensions: 41cm Wide, 56cm High, 31cm Deep (bottom) narrowing to 20.5cm deep (top)
