Beautiful 1960’s Plan Drawers on Stand
£0FREE delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a charge to send via couriers.
A beautiful set of three plan drawers on original stand/ legs. The chest is made from teak and is completely original throughout. It dates from the 1960’s and came to us from a tattoo studio, where they stored their some of their artwork. The drawers lift off the base below to make moving the chest much easier. The legs can even be taken off the frame if you have a really narrow access point. All three drawers run freely and have been sanded and cleaned inside. Some residual marks remain inside (please see photographs). The drawers could be used as a low coffee table if you didn’t want them on the base.
We adore the design, colour and size of the chest. A very rare find in this condition.

A gorgeous and unusual chest of Plan drawers in pine and black. The chest dates to around the early 1930’s and came to us in a terrible state of dark brown and paint splashes. The rest of the carcass and drawer fronts were re varnished to show the original pitch pine grain.
We adore the design, finished colourway and size of the chest. A unique set of drawers that are now ready to be used and treasured by a lucky new owner.

1930’s Large Plan Chest Drawers in Solid Oak
£0FREE Ground Floor delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a charge to send via couriers.
A simply stunning and unusual chest of large Plan drawers in heavy solid oak. The chest dates to around the early 1930’s and came to us from a school in Liverpool, where it had been owned from new. The chest is unusual that the width f the drawers are split. The normal configuration is to have full width drawers for A1 or A0 paper storage; be it plans, architect drawings, engineering diagrams etc. This chest was used as document storage by the school. It is a very heavy piece, hand made from solid oak, that has aged and coloured perfectly. All handles are original and also perfectly aged. The drawers graduate in depth from top to bottom. We think the piece now offers lots of possibilities as drawers, a TV stand, or a superb kitchen island?
We adore the design, colour and size of the chest. Difficult to find in this condition.
Dimensions:
Width: 121.5cm
Height: 86.5 cm
Depth: 90.5 cm (excluding handle protrusions)Internal drawers dimensions are: 52cm wide, 81.5cm front to back, graduating heights from 8cm to 17.5cm
