An original and truly stunning antique Dental cabinet dating from around 1880-1900. It originally came from a dentist’s surgery in Golden Square, Aberdeen. The dentist was purportedly royally appointed to perform work on the Royal Family, when in residence at Balmoral. This is purely verbal authenticity at this stage. Told to us by the private Client that bought the piece from the dental surgery in the 1960’s. It has never been for sale until now and has been in Aberdeen all of its life.
We are unashamedly in love with this cabinet and it has lit up many eyes from the people that have seen the piece in the flesh. Stunning! It is hand made from mahogany with its original marble top and porcelain insert (within the top cupboard section). All of the brass handles on the lower drawers and the turned wooden knob handles are completely original and in tact. We absolutely adore the turned balustrades and finials on the top gallery! Signs of true quality craftsmanship throughout the whole piece.
Very rare indeed! Our research has found that these 19th Century dental cabinets sell for 2500 USD on average in the US. One is available in the UK on Etsy at £10,000 plus delivery..!

An original and truly stunning antique Dental cabinet dating from 1890. It was produced by The Ransom & Randolph Company in Toledo, Ohio, USA. It is 100% original throughout, apart from 6 handles that we had made bespoke from American Walnut, as the original ones were missing or completely broken. Completely hand made in the finest quality radial cut oak with exquisite details throughout the whole piece. From the stunning brass hinges, to the carving on the top gallery, to the drawer inserts – quality and very fine details are evident throughout the whole cabinet. A true testament to the highest skill of the original craftsmen.
The drawers all run very freely and have been cleaned throughout. Some have minor staining but the majority are very very clean, given its age and previous use as a functioning dental cabinet from a working dentist. The plethora of drawers and cupboards of varying sizes means it could appeal to so many people and uses eg Crafters, wood carvers, sewers, collectors etc etc etc. There is also a very clever and unique locking mechanism that locks every drawer in the top and middle sections by locking the top right mirrored door. Another example of the quality and detail. All locks work exactly as they should. Keep the children and teenagers away from your personal items?

An original and truly stunning antique Dental cabinet dating from around 1910-30. It was produced by the American cabinet Co. in Wisconsin. It is 100% original throughout. Hand made in the finest quality radial cut oak with hand columns, corbels and feet. The drawers all run very freely and have been thoroughly cleaned. Some have minor staining but the majority are very very clean, given its age and previous use as a functioning dental cabinet from a working dentist. The plethora or drawers and cupboards of varying sizes means it could appeal to so many people and uses eg Crafters, wood carvers, sewers, collectors etc etc etc.

Very rare indeed! Our research has found only one other which was much darker and nowhere near as beautiful (in our opinion!). That one sold for over £2280. Pleas see link below for substantiation.

A stunning oak linen cupboard dating from around the late 1920’s to early 1930’s. The outer framework and top are made from quality English radial cut oak, displaying the best of the beautiful oak grain. Internally the eight haberdashery type drawers are made from gorgeous golden oak with pine bottoms. We collected this from a large private residence in Matlock, Derbyshire, where it had been owned for over 30 years.
We love the design and beautiful aged patina to the oak. It is a rare item and we have not seen another like it. It would make a beautiful addition to almost any room.

Internal drawer dimensions: 95cm Wide, 39cm Deep, 11cm High
It will require a dedicated two man delivery team due to the weight.
