This is a beautiful and unique hand made dining table. The top has been completely handmade by us, using original early 20th Century oak parquet blocks. Each piece of parquet is cleaned, cut and individually glued in to place. The whole table is then sanded, finished with three coats of the highest quality Osmo Hard wax oil for kitchen work surfaces. This means the table will be spill proof, easy to clean and offer a beautiful sheen lustre to reflect the quality of the piece. The look and feel of the quality oak needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. The top has been edged in new solid oak D shaped edging. This negates any sharp corners and edges (for those with toddlers). The whole process to make the table top takes over one week.
The top sits on a heavy solid oak base, also dating form the same period. A very unique antique dining table. Rustic and beautiful!

£0Completely handmade by us from mid to late 19th Century oak parquet flooring. Each piece of parquet is cleaned, cut and individually glued in to place. The whole table is then sanded, finished with two coats of quality clear Briwax and a final coat of protective hardwax oil. This means the table will be spill proof, easy to clean and offer a beautiful sheen lustre to reflect the quality of the piece. The look and feel of the quality oak needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
The table is then edged and sat on new steel hairpin legs that have been clear coated to offer a protective finish but let the natural colour of the steel show through.
