£0FREE Delivery on this desk. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
A very attractive and stylish double pedestal desk dating from the 1930’s. These desks are often referred to as teachers desks but this one came out of a solicitors office in Buxton, Derbyshire – where it had been since new! With some gentle cleaning and tlc it came up beautifully again. A testament to how well it has been looked after, we believe. It is a great size for home with lots of very useful storage. All drawers are clean and run smoothly, as do the two pull out shelves at the top of each pedestal. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing type drawer.
This will only get better with age and appreciate in value. A superb antique desk that looks beautiful.

£0FREE Delivery on this desk. Some more remote and rural areas will incur a charge.
A very cute and stylish single pedestal teachers desk dating from the 1960’s. It is made from oak with a great colour. Four free running desk and a pull out shelf make this a completely functioning and practical desk for a smaller space. A residual water mark on the top is too deeply ingrained in the oak to remove without spoiling the surface finish. It is purely cosmetic but does make this super cute desk a real style bargain.
These teachers desks nver hang around for long due to their great style, usability and value.

£0FREE Delivery on this desk. Some more remote and rural areas will incur a charge.
A fantastic solid and heavy oak desk that looks very contemporary and stylish. This desk dates from the 1930’s. It is a beautiful colour and size with plenty of storage within the six drawers. The desk has three drawers to the left pedestal, a central knee hole drawer and a double height filing style drawer to the right pedestal, with a further standard sized drawer above. Both pedestals also have pull out top shelves for drinks, resting books, mouse mat etc.
These desk are most commonly referred to as teachers desks now and this one certainly has been. It came to us from the very well respected Gresham’s private school in Holt, North Norfolk. It even had the Gresham’s Loan papers still in the drawers, all of the department’s contact telephone numbers (naughty!) and a POLO mint. In this size and condition with such perfect provenance, we don’t expect this desk to hang around for long.
