An original, circa late 1920’s Bankers lamp in brass with green glass shade. Beautiful quality and age. The lamp is brass tubed to the upper section with a beautifully patterned base. The green shade is in excellent condition for the age with no chips or cracks and only very minor ‘nibbles’ to the edges of the shade (only visible form the underside). The arm is movable by loosening the thumb screw and the shade swivels too. Easily enabling you to direct the light to exactly where you want it. It would make a beautiful desk lamp, bedside lamp or side table lamp – in whichever room you choose (excluding the bathroom!) 🙂

An original gooseneck lamp with a beautiful brass glass clam shape shade. The lamp was produced by Greist Lamp of Connecticut, USA around the late 1920’s to early 1930’s. The shade has a beautiful clamp shape and is in perfectly antique aged brass. The shade has kept its shape superbly with no dents or misshaping to the outer edge silhouette. The base is fantastically typical Art Deco, very detailed and in beautiful original condition. The brass to the flexile ‘neck’ is displaying aged pitting, as photographed.
The lamp has been rewired for safety with a complementary twisted fabric cord. The lamp takes a standard UK Bayonet cap bulb.

An original c1920’s Art Deco lamp in beautiful original condition. This little lamp has everything going for it – beautiful simple 1920’s design lines, original and excellent condition with some nice weight to reflect the quality. It has been fully rewired with a black fabric twisted cord and PAT tested for safety. It has then been mounted on a bespoke made solid oak base. We now think it would make a superb desk lamp or bedside lamp; though could go in any room you choose (excluding bathrooms!)
The lamp is in excellent condition with a superbly aged patina to the metal finish. The inside of the shade and rim shows some sign of age and wear but nothing to downgrade its excellent antique condition. The shade does rotate to be able to direct the light source.
Very hard to find in this finish and condition.

An original c1930’s gooseneck lamp with a beautiful green glass clam shade. The lamp has a beautiful shape to the base, in keeping with the clam shape shade. The brass to the ‘neck’ and shade are also perfectly aged brass. The glass shade is in superb condition for a lamp that is around 90 years old. There are a few tiny nibbles on the edge of the shade which we have tried to photograph. Each one circa 1mm and only visible on very close inspection. Exceptional condition for 90+ year old glass.
We have rewired the lamp for safety and conformation to current regulations. An in line switch has been added for ease of switching on and off and then PAT tested for your piece of mind and ours.
A beautiful lamp that can be a desk lamp, side lamp/ reading lamp, bedside lamp etc. Very hard to find in such good original condition.

An original c1920’s Bankers lamp in nickel plate finish. Beautiful quality and weight. Has all the look and feel of Niam of France but we can’t find a stamp on this one. The Acanthus leaf moulding on the base is certainly the quality of Niam.
The lamp is in excellent condition with full shine on the base and arm and a gorgeous aged patina to the shade. The shade can be highly polished if you prefer the new look.
Very hard to find in this finish and condition.
