An original and stunning antique Dental cabinet dating from around 1920-30’s. It is 100% original throughout. Hand made in beautiful mahogany it has aged perfectly in colour and the condition is exceptional for its age and previous daily use. The cabinet retains all of its original turned handles which is incredibly rare. The top surface is also the original white glass as are the door panes in beautiful bevel edged glass. There are so many sign of quality to this piece. It was clearly a very expensive model when bought new.
We think it now makes a stunning statement piece for a bathroom, hallway, bedroom etc. You won’t find many dental cabinets in such stunning original condition. A real talking piece!

An amazing original Germany Dental cabinet dating from around 1910-20 and most probably produced and supplied by Ritter. It has been expertly hand crafted from solid beech and is very heavy for its size. It is completely original with all of its perfectly aged brass handles. The leather top is also original, along with the glass top. The glass does have some chips (as photographed). We think it now makes a rare and amazing statement piece for a bathroom, study, hall etc. Wherever you would like to show it off 🙂
Very rare and we have not seen another one like it anywhere…..

An original and truly stunning antique Dental cabinet dating from around 1880-1900. It originally came from a dentist’s surgery in Golden Square, Aberdeen. The dentist was purportedly royally appointed to perform work on the Royal Family, when in residence at Balmoral. This is purely verbal authenticity at this stage. Told to us by the private Client that bought the piece from the dental surgery in the 1960’s. It has never been for sale until now and has been in Aberdeen all of its life.
We are unashamedly in love with this cabinet and it has lit up many eyes from the people that have seen the piece in the flesh. Stunning! It is hand made from mahogany with its original marble top and porcelain insert (within the top cupboard section). All of the brass handles on the lower drawers and the turned wooden knob handles are completely original and in tact. We absolutely adore the turned balustrades and finials on the top gallery! Signs of true quality craftsmanship throughout the whole piece.
Very rare indeed! Our research has found that these 19th Century dental cabinets sell for 2500 USD on average in the US. One is available in the UK on Etsy at £10,000 plus delivery..!

An original and truly stunning antique Dental cabinet dating from 1890. It was produced by The Ransom & Randolph Company in Toledo, Ohio, USA. It is 100% original throughout, apart from 6 handles that we had made bespoke from American Walnut, as the original ones were missing or completely broken. Completely hand made in the finest quality radial cut oak with exquisite details throughout the whole piece. From the stunning brass hinges, to the carving on the top gallery, to the drawer inserts – quality and very fine details are evident throughout the whole cabinet. A true testament to the highest skill of the original craftsmen.
The drawers all run very freely and have been cleaned throughout. Some have minor staining but the majority are very very clean, given its age and previous use as a functioning dental cabinet from a working dentist. The plethora of drawers and cupboards of varying sizes means it could appeal to so many people and uses eg Crafters, wood carvers, sewers, collectors etc etc etc. There is also a very clever and unique locking mechanism that locks every drawer in the top and middle sections by locking the top right mirrored door. Another example of the quality and detail. All locks work exactly as they should. Keep the children and teenagers away from your personal items?

Hand made in the finest quality radial cut oak with hand columns, corbels and feet. The drawers all run very freely and have been thoroughly cleaned. Some have minor staining but the majority are very very clean, given its age and previous use as a functioning dental cabinet from a working dentist. The plethora or drawers and cupboards of varying sizes means it could appeal to so many people and uses eg Crafters, wood carvers, sewers, collectors etc etc etc.

Very rare indeed! Our research has found only one other which was much darker and nowhere near as beautiful (in our opinion!). That one sold for over £2280. Pleas see link below for substantiation.

An original antique Dental cabinet dating from around 1920-30’s. It was produced by Hamilton in Los Angeles, California. It is 100% original throughout. Hand made in radial cut oak with hand carved feet. The drawers are steel carcass with wooden fronts to match the rest of the cabinet. All handles are original, as are the glass and internal cupboard linings. It is in superb condition for the age with only minor scratches and the odd ding or two. All would have to be pointed out, rather than standing out. There are 14 drawers in total of varying depth, offering lots of very usable storage. There are also two pull out oak shelves above the drawers, which are beautiful and have their own turned wooden knobs.

£0An original Ritter (of Germany) Dental cabinet dating from around 1910-20. This was in a sorry state when it came to us but has now been fully refurbished. Standing on the original marble plinth with all original glass, shelves and handles. Unfortunately some of the glassware to the drawer handles did not survive the 100+ years. We decide to leave the bases on the drawers as they are still the original bases.
The piece has been finished in Farrow & Ball’s Green Smoke; which we think just complements the overall aesthetics perfectly.
