An original late 19th Century brass bound bucket. Constructed from teak plank and bound by two brass bandings. The bucket is in excellent condition for it’s age. It retains the royal crest on the front of the bucket, together with it’s original rope handle with leather binding for carrying (some stitching is coming loose on the handle). Outstanding antique colouring and patination. Gorgeous!
Perfect for a log or kindling bucket by the fire.
The only direct comparison brass bound bucket (C1880) we have found from our research is priced at £450 on a well known antiques selling site.
