Exceptional Type 75 Anglepoise Lamp (1968-73)

An original Type 75 Anglepoise lamp in its original grey paint colour and overall exceptional condition. Herbert Terry only produced the Type 75 for Anglepoise from 1968 until 1973 when Anglepoise replaced it with the Type 90 lamp (1973 to 1985). A very nicely styled and aged original lamp in a great colour and original vintage condition, complete with original switch and cabling The condition and colour is exceptional with only very minor marks on the base. The shade of the lamp is still in its original circular shape with no misshaping and the interior of the shade is almost flawless. The lamp also has the stamp of the Anglepoise Trademark on the base fork uprights (see photographs) to prove its heritage and authenticity.

Anglepoise Type WL2 Lamp in Exceptional Condition

An original WL2 Anglepoise lamp with black shade. Designed by George Carwardine & Kenneth George in the 1960’s this lamp dates to the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. It is in exceptional original condition with a virtually unmarked black shade. The base is made from heavy cast iron, together with an aluminium adjustable arm and black plastic shade. It is a classic 1960’s design piece from the very well established stable that produced all of the more familiar Anglepoise lamps. We love the simplicity, very clean lines and over all look. It is retro but also very contemporary in its minimalist design. It would make any desk instantly style up. Anglepoise stickers in tact to prove its heritage and even complete with the original Angleposie plug.

Rare Type 75 Anglepoise Lamp in Yellow (1968-73)

An original and very rare Type 75 Anglepoise lamp in its original yellow paint colour. Herbert Terry only produced the Type 75 for Anglepoise from 1968 until 1973 when Anglepoise replaced it with the Type 90 lamp (1973 to 1985). A very nicely styled and aged original lamp in a great colour and original vintage condition, complete with original fabric twisted braid cord. The condition is exceptional with only a few minor marks on the bae and arms (near the elbow). All marks have been photographed so please review all photographs for true condition. The shade of the lamp is still in its original circular shape with no misshaping and the interior of the shade is almost flawless. The lamp also has the stamp of the Anglepoise Trademark on the base fork uprights (see photographs) to prove its heritage and authenticity.

Rare Type 75 Anglepoise Lamp in Orange/ Red (1968-73)

An original and rare Type 75 Anglepoise lamp in its original deep orange/ scarlet red paint colour. We have never had one in this colour in stock, or even seen one on our travels and buying trips before. Herbert Terry only produced the Type 75 for Anglepoise from 1968 until 1973 when Angleposie replaced it with the Type 90 lamp (1973 to 1985). A very nicely styled and aged original lamp in a fantastic colour and original vintage condition. The condition is very good for its age. It doe shave some pitting to the base, which can be rotate to the back when positioning the lamp. There are also a few areas of missing paint to the shade rim and one arm. Still very good for the age of the lamp but please see all photographs for an accurate representation of its condition. The shade is still in its complete original shape with no dings to the rim to misshape the circle. The lamp also has the stamp of the Anglepoise Trademark on the base fork uprights (see photographs) to prove its heritage and authenticity. The other side of the base of the lamp proves it was manufactured at the Herbert Terry manufacturing plant in Redditch.
