A pretty rare and unusual 1950’s steel filing cabinet produced by Art Metal. These original vintage filing cabinets are vary hard to find in this original condition and are therefore highly sought after. The cabinets are made from steel but then painted to give a rosewood effect to the exterior. All of the paintwork and handles are original and in very good condition for the age. With the superbly aged brass handles and label holders we estimate that it dates to around the mid 1950’s.
All of the four drawers are exceptionally clean inside. Very good original condition for its age and much rarer than most of the vintage filing cabinets made by Roneo, Stor and Vickers.

With the superb heavy handles we estimate that it dates to around the early to mid 1950’s.
All of the four drawers are exceptionally clean inside and retain their original suspension file rails. Very good original condition for its age and much rarer than most of the vintage filing cabinets made by Roneo, Stor and Art Metal.
