£0FREE Ground Floor Delivery on this piece within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
An exceptional and rare 1960’s desk handmade by the world renowned Gordon Russell of Broadway. The desk is hand made from high quality oak, which has beautiful grain. The top drawer has its original working lock and one key. There is evidence of a repair to the top rear corner of the desk. A good quality repair in oak but we have to detail this for accuracy and transparency (please see photograph). This is reflected in the lower price (these desks sell at £795-895). We could not find another example of this design in our research. We saw a close example with three drawers in each pedestal but could not find this design at all. Clearly a very rare model. With stunning mid century lines, fantastic proportions and it’s designer, this desk will be very highly sought after. Just a beautiful desk that is the perfect size for home. A true design classic.
The build and quality will mean this desk can only appreciate in value if looked after well.
