This is a very unusual church/ chapel pew. Made from solid beech around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s it is very sleek and stylish for a pew. The seats fold up and the whole bench folds flat, should you need it to. In totally original condition. We love the style, colour and overall appearance of the bench. There are obviously signs of wear to the whole piece from use. Please see all photographs. The bench is solid and sturdy when folded out and totally useable as an everyday hall or dining bench. There is also an easily removable rear shelf (simply slides up and off).
We adore the design, making it stand out from the masses of pews available. This is much more simplistic and almost Scandinavian design. The lends itself to being very flexible on how it can be styled and used in your home. It would make a beautiful hallway bench but equally could add real character and individuality as a dining table bench. Style and use exactly as you wish.
