We have a set of these four gorgeous and rare dining chairs produced by Schonning & Elgaard in Randers, Denmark, in the 1960’s. The chairs are constructed from quality teak with beautiful design and sculptural form to the framework. The brand is a pretty rare find. Our research has shown that a set of four original chairs by Schonning & Elgaard from the 1960’s regularly sell at £1000-1400. This set is in excellent condition, a fine example. We had them reupholstered in a new fabric to easily accommodate and complement most colour palettes.
All chairs are structurally solid. Only one chair retains its original makers sticker, to prove their authenticity. These are a design classic that will just get better with age.

We adore the colours, the patination and the shape of the legs on this decorative antique piece. It was sold to us as a fireside footrest but with the age of it, the copper patination and design we think it it way too nice to put feet on?! We have styled it as a gorgeous plant stand but could equally be a clock stand, book shelf for a desktop, notepad holder etc. Use your imagination on how you would use it but with age, colour and design like this it should be shown off.

An original c1930’s PIFCO heatlamp, in excellent condition. The shade offers a fantastic splash of gloss colour, whilst maintaining the chrome finish inside. These shades often get knocked and misshaped over time but this one is in very good condition with only a few small dings that just add to the character. An inline switch also ensures ease of switching on and off for a bedside or desk/ table. Very contemporary and clean lines.

An original 1970’s Type 90 Anglepoise lamp in its original white paint colour. Herbert Terry produced the Type 90 for Anglepoise in 1973 until 1983 when they were taken to mass produced (Type 90 Apex) and no longer produced by Herbert Terry in Reditch. A very nicely styled and aged original lamp in a great colour and original vintage condition. The lamp has the stamp of the Anglepoise Trademark Type 90 on the base fork uprights (see photographs) to prove its heritage and authenticity.
Very popular vintage lamps that sell really quickly – and we completely understand why. They look fantastic already but will just keep getting better with time.
