This is a lovely example of a Minty Bookcase in medium oak, dating from the late 1920’s to early 30’s. The top section has a Minty of Oxford label, which proves it’s authenticity. Used in legal offices, Minty was one of the finest makers of these types of bookcases. Excellent craftsmanship can be seen in the 5 stacking sections, the bookcase still has original glass in it’s glazed doors. Brass handles dress the doors and each opens fully with a ball bearing catch on each to ensure they stay closed.
The shelves are a good size for books or other items that you might want to display. Each section can be taken apart for easy transportation or relocation to another room. A great addition to any home!
