A truly exceptional large index card cabinet dating from the 1930’s. We were told that this came from a Bank, where it spent it’s life from new.
At 172cm tall with solid, thick oak frame and drawer fronts this piece weighs approximately 100kg – reflecting the quality of manufacture and the expense when new. Two drawer fronts had to be replaced due to damage. All 58 other drawers, fronts and label holders are original.
In excellent vintage condition this is certainly a statement piece of furniture for a room that needs that wow! We have shown how amazing this would be as a wine rack but there are plenty of other uses for collectors, commercial display/ storage, socks, ties, scarves etc etc.
We have not seen another like this one and it will surely appreciate in value due to it’s size, quality, and scarcity.

An original c1920’s French desk lamp in nickel plate finish. The style is very Art Deco to reflect the fashion of the era. Simple form with nicely designed lines. There are marks on the shade but no dents or misshape. Adjustable height and tilt make this lamp very stylish but completely usable.
A very nice pair of antique candlesticks in brass and nickel. Great condition. Lovely patina to the brass to show the age. Sourced from a church. Fit standard sized candles. Classic styling that will just get better as they age.

A fantastic European settle bench dating from around the turn of the 20th Century. Made in pine it is so stylish but very practical – with plenty of storage. A fantastic alternative to chairs at the main dining table or as a very stylish hallway or bedroom bench. Finished in a very flexible and stylish colour, then gently distressed to show the age and character of the piece.
We adore the finished colour and style of this bench. We are confident it will attract lots of attention and generate talking points.
